"Never
doubt that a small group of thoughtful,
committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
-Margaret Mead
US anthropologist (1901 - 1978)
Volunteering is just a part
of life for us. Sometimes it's exhausting
and feels like a second job, but never for
a second do we consider quitting. Many of
our best memories and best friends have been
found through our volunteer
activities. The rewards of the work we do
is a better community, a better way of life
and a better future for our children.
Below is a list of charities we support,
believe in and give our time for.
The Surfrider Foundation, San Diego Chapter is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting our oceans, waves and beaches through conservation, activism, research and education (C.A.R.E.). Both Mark and Heather are members and Heather is on the advisory committee of our local chapter.
